There were some objectionable aspects of this short story. My biggest objection was that a near rape experience was used merely as a plot device and was not discussed in the serious manner that it deserves. Erotica does not occur in a vacuum and this short story seems to reflect how our society doesn't take rape and violence towards women seriously. Cultural and societal reflections aside, the sex scene was pretty unexciting; the author needs to expand their vocabulary to something beyond "pumping."
It is awesomely weird sexy and freaky. It's is a good book for teen and adults. No little kids allowed.
