This book is a rich tapestry woven throughout with biblical references and hemmed with the writings of St. John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Avila, and C.S Lewis.
Not only does the author explain this often misunderstood doctrine in a way that is easy to understand, he also invites us into the deep places of his heart, where God has healed him of a very painful and debilitating past. Learn how God promises to heal our suffering hearts, of the pain of this life.
He shares how our Lord’s healing is available to all people during this life and in the life to come. Many throughout history have painted Purgatory as a place of Punishment when the Bible plainly teaches that it is a place of healing and compassion.
He very clearly teaches that it is only the Blood of Jesus could ever pay for our sins and that we are healed by waters of his loving grace which flow “from thrown of God and of the Lamb” (Rev 221). The word Purgatory never appears in the Bible, but clearly communicates such place of existence.

This is most unique book I've ever read about Purgatory. If you are not a Catholic and questioned the mysterious doctrine of Purgatory, this book is for you. If you are a Catholic, this book will help you explain it to people who are not Catholic.Novack writes in an easy to understand lay language. He presents Purgatory as a loving and healing state of grace, not a place of torment by an angry God.
He connects a lot of dots and makes sense of a misunderstood doctrine. I now see why C.S. Lewis believed in Purgatory.

Purgatory Heaven Healing Waters edition by WJ Novack Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
Great read for Catholic and protestant alike, especially for those who are RCIA converts. Down to earth description of purgatory, no pun intended, with significant scripture references. Touching and meaningful discussion of what happens to us when we leave our earthly bodies and the promise of God's love.
W. J. Novack writes in honest and kind language about a subject that is often misunderstood in today's world. This is a unique book, in that if you are well-acquainted with what Scripture says about the subject, or if you simply want to find out more, this book is for you! There are many widely-varied ideas about purgatory, but the author cuts through much of the fog of confusion in a way that allows us the opportunity to come to our own honest evaluation. As a Priest, I find this a refreshing read that opens many doors of discussion in a positive and reflective way. Purgatory Heaven's Healing Waters gives us the chance to sit down with Jesus and others to discuss this extremely healing reality! This is a very healing book! I strongly encourage you to order today!

As a “new” Catholic, with a strong Protestant background, I find the author’s well researched and heartfelt view of Purgatory absolutely beautiful.
“Yes, please pray for me when I pass from this life, and, more importantly, please pray for the loved ones whom I leave behind. Please pray that I be healed, but please do not pray that I leave Purgatory one moment sooner than I should. I very selfishly want to spend every moment that I can in the healing Arms of Jesus.”
- W.J. Novack, Purgatory Heaven’s Healing Waters
Reading this book touched the very core of my soul. So many references were made to emotions, feelings and beliefs that I myself have. I have gained a new insight into my journey with Christ.
I definitely recommend this book. I myself will reread it. There is so much to gather and contemplate.
What a positive way to view Purgatory! Scripture traditionally uses fire to signify cleansing and purifying. This book speaks to the healing necessary for us to enter into union with God.
This book is totally awesome, although I am not Catholic, I truly enjoyed the information and it opened my eyes. This book answers a lot of my questions. The writing was really great, can't wait to read his next one.
It is true that most people who argue against the existence of purgatory don't know what purgatory is. Also, those who believe in it are sometimes unclear on exactly what it is. The author uses his own experiences as well as the Scriptures and other writing to explain what a blessing purgatory is to all of us. He also includes his views when he was still a protestant and provides a window through which to understand the way they think about things. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in knowing about how we will be healed in preparation for spending eternity with God. I gave this book five stars, because Mr. No back presented in beautiful, clear language that purgatory truly is the healing waters of Heaven that we have been promised from the beginning. Read the book!
